Brito Wins BISS at ARC National 2007! |

The sire of our Ivana's litter, Brito (BIS/BISS, Multi V1, SWRK Sieger '03 Am/Yug CH Brito Od Dragicevica, IPO I), is winning again in the AKC show ring. He just won Best in Specialty Show at the American Rottweiler Club National Specialty!
In addition to the sire of our Ivana's litter, Brito is also the sire of our other dog, Bear (V-Rated Am/Can CH Oberon von Boylan, CGC). Brito is now the #1 Rottweiler in 2007. In 2007 he has started the year very well by winning Award of Merit at Westminster Kennel Club in addition to multiple BISS wins. Once again, he won big at the American Rottweiler Club National Specialty, achieving yet another BISS! Congratulations Brito! This show pulled in over 500 entries, and is the largest show for Rottweilers in the U.S. Hosted by the Gulfstream Rottweiler Club and with a show site near Walt Disney World, it was a great opportunity for family fun. So, with three dogs and our son in tow, that's what we did. The show committee and show chair Grace Acosta did an awesome job, and had an especially well chosen site. The indoor facilities were air-conditioned, but it wasn't needed by the time we started showing. We arrived on Thursday evening to a temperature of 85, but rain followed us, giving the draught-ridden Orlando area some much needed moisture. We were amazed at how fast the ground absorbed the water. The rest of our stay the temperatures were very comfortably in the 70's. Then when it rained again on our trip to Disney World, we didn't care because there was a snow storm back home in Minnesota!
